| Sales / Business Development Manager SUMMARY: Millard Refrigerated Services, a growth oriented, privately held company, focused on temperature controlled distribution, is seeking candidates for a Sales / Business Development Manager Position. Based in Brampton ON, this position will ensure the execution and success of the company’s Sales and Marketing plans and strategies for new and existing services and products. This successful candidate will: •Cultivate new business leads and develop relationships to ensure the company’s overall sales goals are met. •Must be comfortable prospecting new business over the telephone, cold-calling in to prospective client organizations. •Provide rates and possess strong negotiation skills in order to drive revenue growth. •Ideal candidates should have a track record of being ambitious and goal oriented with a strong desire and commitment for sales success DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: •Prospecting and securing new business across Canada (Specifically in Ontario and Alberta) •Prepares quotations, complete sale contract and rely customer’s response after deals are closed Contact potential clients and arrange appointments •Develops and executes sales and marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services. •Recommends pricing structure for new products and services which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run. •Tracks and monitors all sales activities. •Interacts in a professional, courteous manner with customers, prospective customers, visitors and vendors. •Confers with other senior managers and executive management in reviewing, planning, and implementing strategies to meet overall goals and objectives. •Reports on Sales goals for various executive meetings. •Outstanding communication skills and professionalism when dealing with potential clients. •Performs other duties/special projects as required. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS •Business degree or equivalent skills and experience •Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience •Experience in 3PL or Food Distribution /Manufacturing is an asset •Cold storage experience is highly preferred •Experience with Western Canada sales is an asset *** This position will be based in Brampton, ON with occasional travel across Canada.
