Assistant Manager, Operations

Duties:

• manage day to day operation of the office and staff;
• organize and chair morning huddles and meetings with staff;
• assist with setting departmental targets and ensure goals are achieved;
• audit employee performance to promote staff development and training;
• carry out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff;
• ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload;
• review and sign-off on operational documentation as necessary;
• assist with the recruitment of new staff, including training and induction;
• delegate work to staff – managing their workload and output;
• hold meetings with senior management to review performance;
• write reports for senior management, which may include reports on staff performance, service development or an annual review;
• respond to customer enquiries and complaints;
• use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases;
• manage filing systems;
• organize the office and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment;
• maintain the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs;

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years accounts receivable experience
• Minimum 5 years call centre experience
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Exceptional people management skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
