| Warehouse Labour / Order Picker SUMMARY Millard Refrigerated Services, a growth oriented, privately held company, focused on temperature controlled distribution, and is seeking candidates for Warehouse/Order Pickers to work the Off-Shift. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Assembles customer orders from storage or inbound shipments to staging area for outbound loading •Reads pick ticket and determines items to be selected and stacked on pallet for staging. •Keys pick quantities into computerized scanning equipment to update inventory. •Operates pallet jack to assemble orders and deliver to staging area, done in a safe and efficient manner. •Marks materials with identifying information. •Opens bales, crates, and other containers. •Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. •Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. •Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. •Maintain clean work environment. •Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS •Forklift License •1 year + experience working in a Warehouse •Experience working in cold storage an asset •Ability to lift up to 80lbs •Experience using handheld RF scanners •High school diploma •Basic math skills WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. | |
