| Bricklayer Construct and install prefabricates masonry units - Lay bricks or other masonry units to build patio's, garden walls and other decorative installations - Read and interrupt blueprints, drawings and specifications - Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification - Prepare and lay bricks, concrete, blocks, stone, structural tiles and similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations and other structures in industrial and commercial construction - Place steel reinforcing and grout in cavities or cores to build external walls - Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages - Lay conventional tongue and groove blocks without mortar to build walls or foundation walls - Install pre-cast hollow core floor slabs - Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations - Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment Qualifications Required: - Completion of an apprenticeship training program a requirement. Completion of relevant courses is an asset. - Valid driving Licence - Experience: 3-5 years | |
